I’ve worked with many women helping them prioritize self-care so that they can be successful and make a difference in the world. In the process, I learned that health and wellness is not discussed enough. Many times women in leadership positions put self-care on the “back burner”, this has negative impact on their ability to have long-term influence on the issues that are important to them. Making self care a priority allows women to be strong leaders with the stamina they need to have lasting impact.
In my speaking and workshops I give women practical tips that will help them approach health and wellness in a way that does not take over their lives but rather allows them to thrive. I focus on strategies that are easy to incorporate into your daily life and will have a huge impact on your health and productivity.
Practical Mindfulness: Are you feeling burned out, overwhelmed and stressed? Does the idea of starting a meditation practice feel daunting and like something your should be doing but have no time for? In this fast-paced world where we are constantly bombarded with information, responsibilities and deadlines many of us are quick to dismiss the physical and emotional benefits of mindfulness and relaxation. Yet, a regular mindfulness practice has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety and improve focus and make us more productive. This workshop will give you the foundation and tools you need to create a mindfulness practice that works for you. You will learn about the history of mindfulness, the different techniques, the benefits of a regular practice and how to implement the practice into your everyday life.
Taking Care of YOU: Making Health + Wellness a Priority for Success Self-care and wellness are key for success in all areas of life. When we take care of ourselves, our mind + body work at their full potential allowing us to be more efficient + creative + productive.
Leading from Wellness: Determine the areas of self-care you need to focus on to be a more impactful leader
FOOD and MOOD:Have you ever been so stressed that you came home, opened the pantry and ate an entire bag of chips? Maybe you had a bad day at work and to make it better you skipped dinner and went directly for the pint of ice cream? Food is indispensable for our survival, but it also carries a lot of emotions which can lead us to turn to it for comfort rather than hunger. This workshop will explore the causes and triggers that make us turn to food when we are not physiclly hungry and give you tools to asses and change your behavior while also exploring how the food we eat has an impact on our mental and physical health.
Eating for Energy Do you find yourself reaching for an energy drink at 2pm? Are you eating a healthy diet but still struggle to make it through the day? This workshop will help you get to the bottom of your low energy and rethink the way you think of food as fuel.
Your Body Talks, Are you Listening? Do you experience small, annoying health symptoms that aren’t debilitating, but make your days more difficult than they have to be? These small and annoying symptoms are your body’s way of sounding the alarm that something is off and needs your attention. Learn what these symptoms mean + how you can get rid of them.
I thrive on connecting with groups and audiences in person. Nothing excites me more than giving women the tools they need to start making changes that will impact how they show up and contribute to the world. I work closely with my clients to design workshops and presentations that will meet their needs.
