I’m a certified wellness educator and coach who helps women prioritize health and wellness so they can lead more effectively and live more fulfilling lives.

Practical Wellness

As a coach, I pride myself on creating a program tailored to YOU. There’s no one-size-fits-all formula for optimal wellness. We’ll work together to create a program customized for your exact needs.

First we’ll identify what’s working well, and build on that. Then we’ll look at the areas in your life where you need the most support, and then we will work on small shifts to get you to a better place.

There will be no injunctions to meditate for half an hour (unless that already works for you! :D) or start a strict diet. Each strategy I recommend will be practical and achievable. Together, we’ll discover what works for you.
​How It Works
I only take on a limited number of 1:1 clients, so I can fully focus on our work together. 

First, we'll 
schedule a free consultation. During this conversation we'll discuss your goals and challenges, you'll be able to ask questions and learn a bit more about my coaching style. Then we'll decide if working together is a good fit. 

If we decide to to move forward, we will determine if my 3 or 6 month program is the best option. Then we will schedule our first session. You will receive on-boarding materials to help me get to know you better and prepare for your first 60 minute session. During this session we will: 
  • Get clear on your goals and what you want to accomplish during the program 
  • ​Create your own plan of action 

We will then meet every other week for 45 minutes. During this sessions we will:
  • Check in on goals and action plan
  • ​Troubleshoot challenges
  • Within 24 hours of each session, you’ll receive session notes and assignments we’ve discussed.​

Throughout the duration of your program you will be able to text or email me in between sessions  for support or to answer any questions.  

All our meetings take place virtually or in-person.

Organizations 
Organizations are facing an employee burnout crisis. A recent Gallup study of nearly 7,500 full-time employees found that 23% of employees reported feeling burned out at work very often or always.

Employees who feel burned out very often or always are 63% more likely to take a sick day and 2.6 times as likely to leave their current employer.

I’ve worked with organizations including The World Wildlife Fund, Arlington County Government, The Urban Land Institute, Sweetgreen, the VA Women’s Business Conference, The National Association of Professional Women and more to address employee burnout and provide tools and strategies for prioritizing health and wellness. 

Health and wellness programs can increase productivity, increase employee retention, reduce stress-related absences, and be an attractive benefit to prospective employees.

I offer two entry points for my work with companies: workshops and wellness coaching for leaders.
Workshops 
Here is a sample of the workshop topics I offer:

Practical Mindfulness: If meditation feels like one more thing you “should” be doing but have no time for, come learn tools to create a mindfulness and stress-reduction practice that works for you.

Food and Mood: If you’ve ever inhaled a bag of chips or a pint of ice cream after a stressful day at work, this workshop will help you explore causes and triggers of stress-eating and how to make healthier choices.

Wellness as a Strategy for Success: When we take care of ourselves, our mind and body work at their full potential, allowing us to be more efficient, creative and productive. In this workshop you will learn easy-to-implement, practical wellness strategies that will have a huge impact on your health and productivity. 

Stress, Guilt, Burnout: Repeat: The stress/guilt/burnout cycle trashes our productivity and our health. Life can be busy - but it doesn't have to be chaotic and guilt-ridden! This workshop will give you the number one tool to help you reduce stress, stop guilt in it's tracks and add more fun into your life.
